What a trip!

We spent this past weekend up in the high Uintah Mountains and had the time of our lives. Grandma and Grandpa Steele celebrated their 50th anniversary and we all stayed in a cabin with everybody from out of town. We had seven four wheelers and more trails than anyone could possibly ride in three days. Todd rode to a commissary that was a 50 mile round trip. We also rode on several loops that left right from the cabin. It was fun to see everybody and have such a good time.

Our New House

Well we finally moved into our new house. Things have been really busy these last few months trying to get everything done on the house. We'll use that as an excuse for why we haven't blogged in awhile. Todd the workaholic made me spend many late nights working on projects at our house. We would work until like 3 in the morning and then we would be up at 6 to go to work(no fun.) We did all our own tile in the bathrooms, the entry way and the kitchen. Todd installed shutters in all the bedrooms, which turned out so perfect! My dad did all the cabinets for our house which i totally love. We helped install the cabinets when it was time for them to go in. We are just glad to have it all done. Its so fun to have our own place to live, it still doesn't feel like it's our house!

Capitol Reef

This past weekend Todd and I went to Capitol Reef with my family. It was alot of fun, I was looking forward to a nice warm weekend in the sun, but Saturday and Sunday were super cold. It was so pretty down there though. One night while we were down there Todd and I decided to go for a ride in Todds truck. We got to a place in the road where there was a sign that said Fourwheel Drive only. Well Todd loves his little truck, and sometimes i think he forgets that it doesn't have fourwheel drive. We continuted on the road to find a spot that went down a hill, through a river, then up a steep hill on the otherside of the river. We went down the hill and drove through the river to find that our truck could not make it up the other side. We were stuck in the middle of a river in Todds truck between 2 hills and no where to go. As we all know I was freaking out, i thought we would be stuck there forever, but after like 10 minutes of trying to get up the hill we finally made it out of the river. It was a little scary, but looking back now its kind of funny! We had a really fun trip, and it was nice to just get away!

Our New House!

Life right now is super busy as Todd and I are building a new house. We are very excited to finally own our own home! Its so fun to watch the house get built, it seems like we drive down there everyday to see the progress on it. It is in Spanish Fork Utah, and it is in such a cute little neighborhood,. There are baseball fields, tennis courts, and there is a walking trail that we can ride our longboards on and our bikes. They are moving right along on it, so we will probably move in in the summer sometime.

Todd and I just celebrated our 1 year anniversary on January 9th. What a year it has been, we have done a lot of fun things together, and have made many wonderful memories! I look forward to our life together! Todd is such a wonderful husband, he takes such good care of me. Sometimes i think he spoils me a little too much! I love every minute we get to spend together, I could not imagine my life any different!

This past weekend Todd and I went up to his grandpas cabin near the Strawberry Pinnacles. I rode the fourwheeler while Todd rode on the sled behind me. We had planned for lots of snow, but instead we were surprised to find lots of mud. This is what Todd looked like after i was done pulling him around. That crazy boy!

Todd's little sister Katie got a cute little puppy for Christmas from Santa. She has wanted a puppy for a really long time and she finally got one!!! We were so excited for her. They named the little puppy dreamer. He is such a cute dog, we get so excited to go over there and see him. Now i really want one!

Todds new HD Tivo

For Christmas Todd got a new HD Tivo. It was super stressful trying to get that present here for him. I ordered it online plenty early so that it would get here in time for Christmas. Days went by and it was getting closer to Christmas. It had been awhile since i had checked my email, and i got on to look at some stuff when i saw an email that took me by suprise. The HD Tivo that i had ordered for Todd plenty early had not been sent out yet. Apparently i had entered in the wrong expiration date for my Credit Card, and they could not process my order. I fixed the information for my card, but it would not let me change the shipping time on it. After alot of phone calls and alot of stress, Todd's present got here in time for Christmas. All i can say is he better enjoy that present!!!!

Todd and his Tricks

For a long time now i have really wanted a chi flat iron. Todd told me that there was no way i was getting one, and i was set in my ways that no matter what i was getting one for Christmas. On Christmas morning i opened my presents from Todd, and i opened a Flat Iron that was from Todd, to my surprise it was not the Chi that i had been hoping for. It was just some random flat iron from Walmart. I was a little taken back, cause i thought for sure Todd would get that for me, cause we all know what a tease he is. Well we all finished opening our presents and Todd told me that i had somehow missed one of my presents from him, and he gave me another box. I opened it up and it was totally a new Chi Flat iron!!! I was so excited, i couldn't believe he did that, he totally tricked me.

Our First Christmas

This year was our first Christmas married. We went up to Alpine and had a little sleepover and opened presents Christmas morning with our families. We had a very fun Christmas, and I think that Todd spoiled me a little too much!!

Our WET weekend

We spent this weekend down in Nephi Canyon. It was so cold and stormy the entire time. We were worried that we would not even be able to start a fire. It rained everyday. To make matters even worse our favorite trails were all snowed in. I thought that it was memorial day weekend but it seemed a lot more like march to me. We had a good time and even made it to church smelling like smoke and all. The kid that spoke only said "um" 24 times I couldnt even keep count of how many times he said brothers and sisters. It was a great trip though. I wish we could have just stayed up there and not come back to real life.
